  • Hard commodities, like mining or oil drilling⁣
  • Shifting cultivation⁣
  • Logging⁣
  • Wildfire⁣
  • Settlements and infrastructure⁣
  • Other natural disturbance, like floods, storms or pests⁣

This new level of detail can support policymakers, land managers, researchers and others identifying the causes of disturbance and the most effective mix of policies and management interventions.⁣
